Boats on the Creek

Sailing through the Winter Solstice - Every year Carroll Creek in Frederick, Maryland is filled with lighted sailboats that have been built and designed by local companies. The project is made possible by a local nonprofit called "Color On The Creek." It's also a competition in which you can vote for your favorite boat while making a contribution to a local charity. The winner is awarded the Sailing through the Winter Solstice Trophy.

Avignon

A beautiful flower I photographed of an Avignon White Dinnerplate Dahlia and turned it into an amazing digitally enhanced piece of artwork.

The cigar-like pods of the catalpa tree provide a nice foreground to the sun trying to shine through the clouds. I photographed the scene and turned it into a moody digitally enhanced piece of artwork.
