Old Sheldon Church

This historic church has lain in ruin for over 120 years. It was built between 1745-55. Burned in the Revolutionary War. Rebuilt and then burned during the Civil war and wasn’t rebuilt after that. The bones are stll beautiful, especially framed by the twisted branches of Southern Live Oaks and Spanish Moss. Yemassee, South Carolina
